INTERVIEWING A PROFESSIONAL SPORTMAN//SPORTWOMAN

Interviewer: Hello, I am working for the Times magazine. I would like to ask you a few questions.
Interviewee: Of course, go ahead.
Interviewer: When was the first time you started playing..../doing sport?
Interviewee: The first time I played..... was when I was .....years old
at the age of..............
Interviewer: How long have you been competing professionally in....?
Interviewee: I have been competing for a long time; for ......years.
Interviewer: Have you won any gold medals at the Olympic games?
Interviewee: Just one.
Interviewer: What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Interviewee: My greatest achievement I think it was when I broke the world record in..... It was a great moment, a great experience.
Interviewer: And what has been the worst moment so far?
Interviewee: The worst moment was at the ..............competition. I was beaten by........ , the greatest opponent so far.
Interviewer: How often do you train?
Interviewee: I train once/twice/three times a day, for about ...... hours all in all.
Interviewer: Do you enjoy training?
Interviewee: It depends. Sometimes when it's cold I don't feel like it.
